Description
Quest 2014, Castell d’Encús. This red wine is created by combining four varieties of grapes from the property of the Castell d’Encús wine cellars: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. All the Quest 2014 wine has been fermented in vats made out of stone from the XIIth century, and has gone through a malolactic fermentation in barrels before being aged for 15 months.
Tasting notes:
With a dark cherry red colour, the Quest 2014 red wine has a complex, intense and flowery aroma, with tones of black fruits, thyme and vanilla. The mouthfeel is silky, with a dry fruits and spicy notes finish. Its aftertaste is intense and long, with a marked acidity.
Storage tips: Store at room temperature in a cool and dry place.
